1. Purpose

The purpose of this Agreement is to stipulate details regarding the service provided by Peace TV
(www.iPeaceTV.co.kr, hereafter called "website") and responsibilities related to it.

2. Validity and Modification of the Agreement

a) This Agreement is shown to a user at the time of his/her registration as a member of the
website and comes into effect when he/she expresses agreement with it.
b) Website may modify the Agreement unless the modifications violate the Basic Law on
Electronic Transactions, the Law on Electronic Signature, the Law on Promotion of Use of
Information and Communication Networks, the Law on Consumer Protection, and other related
legislation regulating the Agreement.
c) In case of modification of the Agreement, the website must clearly state the reason for the
modification and the date from which the modification comes into effect. The content of the
modification must be publicly announced at least 7 days before the modification comes into effect.
d) In case of a member’s disagreement with the modified Agreement he/she may request a
withdrawal from membership. If a member continues to use the service after the modified
Agreement of Use comes into effect, he/she is considered to have agreed with the modified
Agreement of Use.
e) Matters not stated in the Agreement should be dealt with according to the Basic Law on
Electro-Communications, the Law on Electro-Communication Enterprises, the Law on Promotion
of Use of Information and Communication Networks and other related legislation.

3. Definition of Terms

Following are definitions of terms used in the Agreement:
a) Users: members and non-members of the website connecting to it and using its services
according to the Agreement of Use;
b) Members: users who agreed with the Agreement of Use, completed the process of signing in,
and received user’s ID;
c) Non-members: users using the services provided by the website without signing in as the
website members;
d) ID: sequence of letters and/or digits (or their combination) selected by members and
recognized by the company, used to identify members and provide them with service
(hereafter called "ID");
e) Password: combination of letters and digits determined by a member and used to confirm the
identity of a member using given ID and to protect his/her confidential information;
f) Cancellation: cancellation of Agreement of Use of the website by the website or by a member
after the beginning of service.

4. Signing Up for Membership

a) When signing up for membership users are supposed to read the Agreement of Use and
express agreement with it by clicking the "Agree" button.
b) Users can submit request for admission to membership by filling in and submitting the sign
up form provided by the website.
c) Users who submitted false information in sign up forms may be deprived of membership or
their use of services provided by the website may be restricted by the administration of the
website.
d) In the absence of special circumstances, the administration of the website grants
membership to the users who submitted sign up forms.
e) The administration of the website may refuse or withdraw a membership from a user in the
following cases:

1. When a user applied for membership using fake name or other person’s name;
2. When a user did not submit full information or submitted false information in the sign up form;
3. When a member uses the website for inappropriate purposes;
4. When a user was previously deprived of membership for inappropriate behavior;
5. In other cases when the administration of the website considers it necessary.

5. Protection of Personal Information

a) The website collects minimum information about users. At the time of signing in a user is
supposed to submit his/her name, ID, password, number of Resident’s Card or Alien’s Card
(in case of residents in Korea), e-mail address. Submitting other information is optional.
b) With members’ permission the website may collect additional information about them for
purposes other than membership registration (e. g. community activities, use of information
requiring payment, participation in various events etc.)
c) The website may not disclose or transfer a member’s personal information to a third party
without member’s permission. Exceptions to this rule can be made only in the following cases:

1. Minimum necessary information about the user (name, address, telephone number) may be
given to a shipping company for shipping purposes;
2. Information in the form that makes it impossible to identify individuals may be given out for the
purpose of statistic, scientific and market surveys;
3. Information may be given to authorized governmental institutions in cases provided for by
corresponding legislation;
4. Partial information necessary for bank transactions may be given to authorized banks.

6. Modification of Personal Information

a) Members can review and modify their personal information at any time through the menu
"Modification of Personal Information." However basic information including ID, name, Resident
Card number or Alien Card number (only in case of residents in Korea) cannot be modified.
To modify his/her ID a member must withdraw from membership and sign in for membership
again under the new ID.
b) When a member’s personal information changes, he/she must modify his/her personal
information on-line. Members are responsible for the problems occurring due to the failure
to report changes in personal information.

7. Website’s Duties

a) In the absence of special circumstances, the website provides service to a user from the
day when the latter applied for membership.
b) The website must without delay repair any breakage of its equipment and continuously take
other measures necessary for providing stable service. The service however may be temporarily
discontinued, due to natural calamities or other force majeure circumstances.
c) When members’ opinions or complaints about the service are considered reasonable by the
administration of the website, it should take appropriate measures to deal with these complaints.
In case when taking immediate measures is difficult, the website should inform the user about
the reasons for this and plans for solving the problem.
d) The website publicly announces its policy aimed at protection of personal information and
adheres to this policy.
e) The website tries to make all procedures related to conclusion, modification and
cancellation of the Agreement of Use convenient for users.

8. Members’ Duties

a) Members must observe the Agreement of Use, the rules described at Help Desk page, and
other instructions publicly announced by the website and abstain from any actions hindering
the work of the website.
b) Members are responsible for managing their ID and password as well as for any results
caused by their negligence in dealing with or misuse of ID and password.
c) Members who discover that their ID and password are being misused by others should
immediately inform the administration of the website about it. In case when members fail to
report about such misuse, they are responsible for its possible consequences.
d) Members must follow instructions posted in the section "Public Announcements" and other
guidelines regarding the use of the website.
e) Members may not get involved in any commercial activities using services provided by the
website without prior permission of its administration. The website is not responsible for results
of such commercial activities conducted in violation of this Agreement. In case when members’
commercial activities cause damage to the website, involved members must pay to the website
a compensation for the damage.
f) Without an explicit approval from the website members may not transfer, grant or mortgage to
the third party their right to use the services of the website or other rights related to the
membership status and stipulated in the Agreement of Use.
g) Members may not perform the following actions related to the services of the website:

1. Using IDs, passwords, Resident’s Card numbers (Alien Card numbers) and other personal
information of other members;
2. Obtaining website’s cyber-property and points of cyber-cash through abnormal methods;
3. Reproduction, publishing, broadcasting, transferring to the third party or other uses of the
information obtained through the services of the website for purposes other than personal use
without receiving prior permission from the administration of the website;
4. Posting on the website or disseminating through e-mail or other means the contents violating
others’ patents, trade marks, commercial secrets, copyrights and other rights of intellectual
property;
5. Streaming and posting on the website, or disseminating through e-mail or other means
pornographic contents and other images and texts violating public morals or containing obscene
language;
6. Streaming and posting on the website, or disseminating through e-mail or other means
contents containing threats or abusive words and contents violating others’ privacy;
7. Actions that can be objectively interpreted as related to crimes;
8. Collection and storage of others’ personal information without permission of the website;
9. Other actions violating existing legislation.
9 Members’ Posts
The administration of the website may delete the contents posted by members without prior
notification, if these posts are categorized as belonging to one of the following types:
a) Slanderous information injuring the reputation of other people;
b) Contents violating public order or morals;
c) Information related to criminal activities;
d) Contents violating copyrights or any other rights of the website or third party;
e) Contents that were displayed on the website longer than the posting period determined by
the administration;
f) Pornographic materials or links to web pages (including members’ personal web pages)
containing pornographic materials;
g) Posts deviating from the topic of forum;
h) Other posts violating existing legislation.

10. Copyrights Over Posted Materials

Rights over posted materials are determined in the following way:
a) Members are responsible for and have rights over the contents they post on the website.
These contents cannot be used by the website for commercial purposes without permission of
the author of the post. The administration of the website, however, has a right to post these
contents on the website for non-commercial purposes.
b) Members may not alter, sell or otherwise use for commercial purposes the information or
materials posted on the website.
c) Posting or streaming contents produced by Peace TV on other websites and/or media without
written permission of the administration is prohibited. Administration may deprive violators of
membership and apply to them other sanctions.

11. Use of E-mail

a) The administration of the website may communicate to members the information it considers
important via official announcements on the website, e-mail messages and/or other means.
b) Webmaster’s e-mail is shown in the contact information field of the website. It can be used
only by the webmaster and staff of the website.

12. Advertisement and Transactions with Advertisers

a) To provide continuous quality service the website may earn income through advertising.
By subscribing to the website’s services members express their agreement to see
advertisements posted on the website.
b) The website is not responsible for any loss or damage borne by users as a result of their
participation in advertisers’ sales promotion activities, communication or commercial
transactions with advertisers.

13. Sales and Other Commercial Transactions

a) To provide better service for members the website may organize sales and conduct other
commercial activities.
b) The website may inform members about sales and chargeable services.
c) Primary responsibility for the after-service for items sold through the website lies on suppliers
and/or company which produced the items.
d) Other aspects of sales follow general rules of commercial transactions.

14. Time of Service

a) In the absence of special technical or administrative hindrances the website provides a
round-the-clock service throughout the year without days-off. However the website may
suspend its service during specially appointed days or hours for the purpose of regular
technical checkup.
b) The website may divide its services into several fields and assign separate time of use for
each type of service. In this case the website makes a public announcement about it beforehand.

15. Suspension of Service

a) The website may suspend its services in each of the following cases:
1. Unavoidable circumstances related to the repair or installation of equipment necessary for
service;
2. Temporary suspension of service by the electro-communication enterprise in accordance
with provision of the Law on Electro-Communication Enterprises;
3. Other force majeure circumstances.
b) The website may suspend all or part of its services in cases of national emergency,
interruption of power supply, or impediments to a normal service caused by the technical
problems with the website’s facilities or influx of users.
c) In cases of suspension of service according to the clauses a) and b) of Article 15, the
website must immediately inform members about the reasons and period of suspension.

16. Withdrawal from the Agreement and Restrictions on Use

a) In order to withdraw from the Agreement a member should personally apply online for the
withdrawal from the website membership.
b) The website may cancel the Agreement with a member or suspend a member from the use of
services for a certain period without prior notification in any of the following cases:

1. Theft and use of other members’ personal information, IDs and passwords;
2. Signing up for membership not under one’s real name;
3. Signing up under two or more different IDs;
4. Actions harming others’ reputation or otherwise causing them damage;
5. Violation of intellectual property rights of the website, members or third parties;
6. Deliberate dissemination of information disturbing public order or harming public morals;
7. Actions harming national or public interests or planning such actions with the use of
services offered by the website;
8. Deliberate actions hindering the operation of the website services;
9. Transmission of a large amount of advertisements or other information aimed at disrupting
stable operation of the website’s services;
10. Dissemination of computer viruses causing malfunctions of telecommunication equipment
and/or loss of information;
11. Request for correction from Korea Internet Safety Commission or other public institutions or
evaluation of a member’s actions by the National Election Commission as related to illegal
electoral activities;
12. Reproduction, distribution or use for commercial purposes of the information obtained
through the service provided by the website without prior permission from its administration;
13. Violation of this Agreement and/or other terms of use established by the website.

17. Damage Compensation

The website is not responsible for any damage related to the use of the website’s free-of-
charge services that may occur to a member.

18. Exemption from Responsibility

a) The website is not responsible for the interruption of service caused by acts of God and
other force majeure circumstances.
b) The website is not responsible for the impediments to the use of its services caused by
actions of members.
c) The website is not responsible for the loss of income which a member expected to obtain
through the services of the website and for any damage related to the materials obtained through
the services of the website.
d) The website is not responsible for the reliability or accuracy of the materials and information
posted by members.
e) The website is not responsible for any damage related to the use of its services caused
by deliberate actions of members.

19. Competent Court

In case of a lawsuit filed to resolve disputes related to the services provided by the website,
court proceedings are conducted under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court responsible for
the area where the head office of the company operating the website is located.
